In what may aggravate the ongoing bifurcation war, sources say it has come to light that the draft Telangana Bill has left out the moolah with how 160 funds-rich institutions in united Andhra Pradesh will be divided.
Together, the entities including the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams’ (TTD) Fund which reportedly hold more than Rs 25,000 crore and the distribution of the money between the two states is all set to become another contested issue.

In the seventh schedule of the draft bill, the Centre has reportedly identified 41 state funds to be distributed between Telangana and residuary Andhra Pradesh. However, after the draft bill was sent to the state a few weeks ago, the finance department reportedly found that about 160 institutions holding huge funds has not made it to the list.
After a detailed study of the entities, the finance officials have estimated that the 160 units together have over Rs 25,000 crore in cash funds. This includes TTD NIMS Fund, River Tungabhadra Fund, Machkund Reservoir Fund, Cooperative Tribunal Fund, AP Cinema Development Fund, AP Construction Workers Fund, Archaeology and Museums Fund, Water Resources Development Fund and Rajiv Udyogasri Fund, Employee Welfare Fund, State Disaster Response Fund, CM Relief Fund, Education Fund National Calamity Relief Fund, Electricity, etc.
