After several speculations about Ram Charan’s heroine in his Bollywood debut film, finally Priyanka Chopra has been confirmed to play the female lead role opposite Ram Charan in the remake of Zanzeer.As per the reports Priyanka Chopra has signed on the dotted line for this film on Wednesday morning (April 11, 2012).Another buzz is that Priayanka has been paid a whopping sum of Rs 6 crores for this film, which is the highest remuneration for her so far.Another actress Mahie Gill and actor Arjun Rampal is also playing an important roles in this film.
Zanzeer is a remake of Amithab Bachchan’s classical hit film ‘Zanjeer’ (1973).The remake of this film will be directed by Apoorva Lakhia and it will also be dubbed into Telugu. Amit Mehra is producing it in association with Reliance Entertainment.
Soon the film is going to the sets and presently Ram Charan is in Mumbai for the first schedule of the film.
