Popular Tollywood villainSonu Sood's car caught fire in Mumbai on Sunday evening. The incident happened when Sonu's friend Ajay Dhama was driving. The high end luxury car caught fire on the western Express highway in Bandra.

Sonu's friend stopped the car after noticing smoke from the bonnet. Ajay said “I brought a 20-litre bottle of drinking water from a near by shop and tried to douse the fire but that didn’t really help,”

Sonu recollecting the incident said “I just can’t believe what has happened. These are high-end cars. It’s so scary and I am very fortunate that Dhama was able to open the door at the right time.”

Sonu attained immense popularity after he scared his way to success in Arundhati. Though Sonu is seen as villain in all the films,he graduated to hero in Bollywood.  He is regarded as the most romantic and handsome villain in Indian film industry.
