Earlier there were many rumors that Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan might not host the sixth edition of the reality game show Kaun Banega Crorepati due to his health issues.Amitabh underwent abdominal surgery in February and was advised rest for sometime, so there were rumors that he might not host the show. Now Big B has put an end to all the rumors by saying that he is in plans to host the Kaun Banega Crorepati programme.
He Tweeted that "Off for a meet with Sony for next KBC .. planning, operation, execution .. will keep you informed on its broadcast and other details,"
KBC is the Indian version of the UK game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. The show, first aired in 2000, was hosted by Amitabh Bachchan by making his maiden appearance on television.The show became a rage with Big B hosting its first and second seasons. Following this, superstar Shah Rukh Khan was roped in for the third.
But Big B returned to anchor for the fourth season of the show which was aired on Sony Entertainment Television and then hosted the fifth season as well. Now he is all set for the sixth edition of the show.
